Decorating your home could be fun! Most of us prefer to decorate our home by replacing the old decorative pieces with new ones. While, for those who can afford it, buying new decorative items like expensive flower vases, lamp shades and statues can be easy, this is not the same in case of people who cannot afford it. So how can they decorate their homes? Well, the easiest way is to recycle some of the items you could throw away. Just let your imagination run riot! You can use a coconut shell as a lamp shade! Scrap the coconut out of the shell. With a sand paper wisp out the coarse outer to make the surface smooth. Now apply varnish on it. Now attach a long pipe, approximately 15 cm in length. Your lamp shade is ready!
